Writing japanese in microsoft word 2010


















I can't delete one character, I can't edit the words, and once I press enter, it's like it becomes an image and my choices are to leave it or cut it. So it appears to be a problem with Microsoft Word or how I've set something up.

I would like to get rid of whatever that black box is and type directly onto the Word document. It's ridiculous that it's this difficult to do something that should be very simple.
