Excel page setup

The Page Setup Group will provide the user with the following options. Margins are one of the commonly used page settings. Margins are used to implement Margin Sizes for the entire document or the current document. The Orientation option will provide the option of page orientation.

You can present the page either in a landscape orientation or portrait orientation. The Print option will provide you print customization. You can select a specific part of the page and print it accordingly.

The Background option is self-explanatory. The option enables you to choose a custom background for your sheet. The Print Tiles option enables you to add specific rows and columns as common to all the active sheets. The Arrange Group helps the user arrange the pages in an ordered format, according to the user's requirements. Digging a little more into Page Setup in Excel, you will find some additional options from the launch button or the print tiles options.

You will learn about them in a more detailed way. When you print, it enlarges or reduces the worksheet or collection to fit the required number of pages. You can make the worksheet adjusted through a specific percent by writing or selecting the number in the provided window. The Margin Tab will provide the option of adjusting the measurements according to the top, bottom, left, and right margins of the page.

The header option will help you with including the header on your page. To setup, the page follows the below steps in Excel. This looks on one page but not able to read properly. In the same print preview window, change the orientation from Portrait to Landscape. The first thing we need to do while printing is to set the print area.

For example, look at the below data in a worksheet. First, select the print area Print Area In Excel, the print area is the portion of the workbook or worksheet that we wish to be printed rather than the entire workbook or worksheet. From the page out tab, we can set up a print area. In addition, a single worksheet can contain numerous print areas. You can programmatically change the page setup attributes in the active workbook and in any other open workbook. These macros use the Orientation property of the PageSetup object.

You can modify other page setup attributes, by using other PageSetup properties, such as LeftMargin, RightMargin, and so on.
